Reduced ferry capacity between Estonia and Sweden
13. September 2021 13:45:00
As from today DFDS will suspend the two-vessel setup on Paldiski – Kapellskär route until expectedly the end of this year.
Due to an unexpected delay related to the dockings of vessels, DFDS will move the vessel M/V PATRIA SEAWAYS from Estonian – Swedish to Lithuanian-Swedish corridor.
This will significantly reduce ferry capacity between Estonia and Sweden.
DFDS expect to return to the previously used two vessel set up on the Paldiski – Kapellskär line at the beginning of 2022.
The reduced ferry capacity will unfortunately impact cargo traffic between the Baltics and Scandinavia, delays and capacity shortage are to be expected.
Despite these challenging circumstances we can offer you optional solutions, for instance alternative routes.
