The Industrial Union, the Trade Union Pro and the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff, YTN in Finland have announced an extensive strike which has started today Monday 9th December and will last at least three days.
The freight traffic will be affected due to shut down and production stop in many Finnish companies within the industry sector. This causes unbalance in the goods flows and in the capacity in the Scandinavian, Baltic and CEE countries.
Due to the strike there will be delays and extended lead times, extra costs may also occur. We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated on the development of this conflict.
